All I Desire 03:44
All I desire I threw in the fire, see how it burns leaves of the trees assemble me please, with these words I've learned help me to stand where there once was quick sand, now the currents fast and if you cast a spell cast it well cast it well, and don't look back Time has had its hand on the pulse of me, so I'm taking it off and oh I want to be down in New Orleans, in the heart of it all So take me for a dance baby put me in a trance, I like it like that and sing me another song make it long make it long, and don't look back, no don't look back....

Radio Tower 04:11
I whispered to you on the wind I listened for an answer and I heard everything Oh radio tower, receive my heart call out ooh send it out along, as far as you can now Then I climbed up a hill, lookin for the flowers and I stood there still, I was there for hours Oh radio tower, receive my heart call out ooh send it out along as far as you can, as far as you can Then the night comes, such a lovely lover oh I do believe its all I need, while I'm here undercover Oh radio tower...

Sunlight in the city moving slow gives me a peaceful kind of feeling in my soul and was I dreaming or did I hear you calling me, did I hear you calling me? Well I believe I'm ready for you, yes I do, I believe I'm ready for you Cause every soul has a different kind of rhythm sometimes it swings high, sometimes it swings low and you know about struggle, but you just keep on moving through, I said you keep on moving through, and I believe I'm ready for you, yes I do, I believe I'm ready for you Cause all the tears I've cried, they have gone away and dried, and I believe I'm ready for you, I do, I believe I'm ready for you, Hey yeah! I believe I believe I believe.........

You know your time has come, you know your time has come.... You had the keys to this town but you had to mess around and now you're wondering if you should stay or if you should run out And everybody's talkin that jive but I've got to say this to you, you, you You know your time has come!... Stop what you're doing man, do you really want to act like a fool if you reflect on your actions now, I think you'll know what to do And everbody's talkin that jive but I've got to say this to you, you, you You know your time has come! Its so easy to run and hide, it takes nothing But why oh why, would you want to burn up a bridge, before you cross it? You know your time has come!...

Well you're in my heart, in my head, in my mind and you are in my bed (repeat) Maybe I've got the one and two maybe I've got the drop on you maybe you don't see it maybe I'm just in my head Well you're in my heart, in my head, in my mind and you are in my bed! ....

Kingfisher 04:02
Kingfisher, lays it on the line, puts it down easy with a groovy sense of time, raw daddy gets you at the jump rocks it on steady with a whole bag of funk, That's right, you can't mess with the Kingfisher He's outta sight, I think you get the picture Tulsa time is rollin in rhyme, a Halo at the doorstep, a bottle full of wine No matter if its land or sea, that Kingfisher gonna make it out clean That's right, you can't mess with the Kingfisher He's outta sight, I think you get the picture Who knew you'd do what you do, you did it how you did it, that's all there is to it Everbody's got their part to play, you did yours so well, you're still here today That's right, you can't mess with the Kingfisher He's outta sight, I think you get the picture!

Animal Eyes 03:20
I've got lions in my bed, and tigers in my head I don't know what you think about me, but I like my fantasy And sometimes when the wind blows in, well it takes me far and wide and I can be anything that I want, because its all the same inside And I don't wanna be shut out! I don't like all this fear and doubt so you can show me your animal eyes, you don't need that thin disguise And next time when the wind blows in, let it take you far and wide cause you can be anything you want, because its all the same inside Yeah! You know its all the same inside, its all the same inside, so you can show me you animal eyes, you don't need that thin disguise....

Worries 03:44
I see you and you see me but there's fire in your eyes now saying goodbye standing at the door and looking in on me now backwards and forwards nothing is sure but the air that we breathe inside and outslde storms rage and I don't know what to believe Oooh, make your merry don't you carry that frown there's no need to worry, worries, they all run out! Everybody knows the way the story goes it just goes round and round one woman's son becomes another woman's man holding hands and breaking ground and here I stand above bones in the earth, leaning towards the sun and the moon will rise just as sure as I've seen it etched upon a stone Oooh, make your merry, don't you carry that frown There's no need to worry ,worries, they all run out! So I'll bare my soul and I won't control the spirit when it comes because I've seen enough of the hammers and the stuff that beat a spirit down Oooooh, make your merry, don't you carry that frown there's no need to worry, worries, they all run OUT!

Walk On 04:10
How am I supposed to walk on, walk on How am I supposed to walk on, walk on Every time you come around my heart starts to pound So how am I supposed to walk on, walk on... I, I've crossed so many sees just to be with you because I, love the way I feel when I get to just see you So tell me how am I supposed to, walk on, walk on....

A fog rolled in on the land A ship set sail but its captain stands on battered feet and making mountainous cries Says don't give up on me I've sailed these seas and I've seen in threes when searching for that far horizon line So let it be a call, and see him standing tall As the ground falls away And sail on sail through the night Thought the winds are strange and the seas have changed and no one knows, its just a guessing game But by your body and soul, By your blood and your bones you know the truth is here, and she is lingering So let it be a call, and see her standing tall As the ground falls away And let it be a call, I'll see you standing tall As the ground falls away As the ground falls away As the ground falls away

about

Recorded in Los Angeles, CA and Winham, ME 'From the Halo to the Boulevard' is named after the two studios the bulk of recording happened in; The Halo (Windham ME) and Boulevard Recording (Hollywood, CA).
It is the first full length record for Rosa Pullman as a solo artist. With a collection of top notch musicians from one side of the country to the other, this album was made during the past four years and is a journal of sorts, documenting the emergence of Rosa in to her new creative mode as solo artist. The record has something for everyone on it, from folk to soul to rock and roll.
Rosa Pullman is emerging, and this is her newest calling card, her offering in times of great change when truth is in high demand, and she serves it up with a rawness and vulnerability that is refreshing and deep, and at times playful and light.
